It’s that time of year again. While the masses freeze and frolic amidst snow and models rushing between shows, fashion’s elite slay and stay cozy in tents, Snapchatting, Instagraming and IM-ing to the envy of those less fortunate.

Enter Fashion Week. I used to really look forward to the shows, refreshing Vogue.com like a lunatic, eagerly waiting for images from my favourite designers to be released. I’d lust over Alexander Wang, 3.1 Philip Lim and Louis Vuitton, saving my favourite looks on my phone in hopes that one day, I’d be able to achieve a semblance of such coolness.

But that was five years ago, when I didn’t have to think about things like grocery and utility bills, and could actually afford to splurge. These days, I’d like to think of myself as wiser, taking to Instagram for my style inspirations instead. For one, looks by style bloggers tend to be more relatable and manageable, and it’s easy to find cheaper alternatives of what they’re wearing.

Check out these fashionistas who are killing it with their NYFW looks.
