We Put 13 Eyeliners To The Test So You Don't Have To
Here, dear readers, is a list of eyeliners which we have painstakingly tried out so you don't have to. Read on to find out which ones you can add to cart right away, and which to skip.
Kate Super Sharp Liner EX
This new EX version of Kate's Super Sharp Liner is designed with a nonagonal pen body that allows for a better grip. Good looks aside, we like how its fine brush - jointly developed with Pentel - makes application a breeze. In fact, the lines drawn are so precise that they are great for drawing lashes - try drawing fine lines upwards from the corner of the eye for wider-looking peepers. Plus: We tried this on our hands, deliberately rubbed our fingers on the ink, and it did not smudge.
Ease of application: ★★★★★
Price: S$17.90, available from May 2017 at selected FairPrice Finest, FairPrice Xtra, Sasa and Watsons stores.
Kat Von D Tattoo Liner
We've heard good things about this particular eyeliner, but unfortunately it did not work well for us. Although it seemed highly pigmented and easy enough to work with when we first bought it, the applicator dried up really quickly and we weren't able to use it after about two weeks. Not ideal for the price we are paying.
Ease of application: ★★★☆☆
Price: S$32, available from Sephora
